On the 31st October 2016, Intra Asia Insurance held a blood donation in the Menara Hijau building facilitated by Red Cross Indonesia. At 10:00 am, preparations for the blood donation began, velbeds and all the equipments were prepared, goodie bags are also prepared as appreciation for the donors. The goodie bags are filled with a carton milk, a bottle of juice, instant noodles and vitamins. On the other side of the room, additional snacks are provided such as tea and yellow rice. At 10:45 am, all preparations are settled and ready. 10 minutes later, employees from different floors started to register their names as donors, although eventually some of them returned disappointed because they are rejected as a donor due to several reasons. Others whom are approved as donors, seemed excited to be able to donate their blood. While waiting, donors are able to consult health concerns in the Health Corner with Dr. Prima Ayu, a health consultant from IntraHealth.

Commissioner, Mr Andy Raharja, was one of the donors in this event. However, sadly, our President Director Ms. Liana Ali, was not able to become a donor due to health conditions and is currently undergoing treatment. This was the first time Intra Asia Insurance organized a blood donation event, the event went really well and has stirred a lot of interest. There were 77 names recorded to become a donor, however, only 53 were accepted to become donors, these 53 blood bags will be very valuable to those in need. From this 53 blood bags, 6 are AB type and 16 are B type, very rare types of blood needed in Indonesia.
